Hike to Willow Springs

The girls brought water for our hike, but once we got there, they decided that river water was better for hiking... colder anyway She really wanted to get in.
The girls thought they needed to use the bathroom before we started our hike, but only Boston was willing to brave the outhouse... Ya think they're a little dramatic?
Can you tell the difference? Mint or Stinging Nettle? When we first got up there, I showed the girls both and warned them not to touch the nettle. They all think they know which is which but none of them are brave enough to pick either without clarification... Can you tell the difference? Mint or Stinging Nettle? Mint or Stinging Nettle?

I always liked this little place Determined to do it on her own.
We made it! It was really flowing!
The water was so cold!
I love how the water just comes out of the mountain.
She "hiked" all the way back here to get a drink. (About 15 treacherous feet from where I was...)
Mint or Stinging Nettle? Mint or Stinging Nettle? Not sure what happened to the other half of the foot bridge, but I'm glad I wasn't on it.
