Coco-not!

Stupid coconut! I can't even say that I got stitchES... Ten minutes and one measly little stitch. By the end of the week, my finger had turned blue and purple but I didn't get a good pic of that...
Kind of hard to see; I didn't realized that when the doc said he was going to sew a button on my finger, he meant a literal button!
Doc went thru the button, thru the bone, thru the tendon, then back thru everything and knotted the top... no wonder it hurts! All this for a tiny little tendon! Everything seems to be over-packaged these days!
Mercedez signed me! Cast off, still buttoned. Can't move it at all.

Description: I'd managed to hack the coconut in half without incident. But while trying to removed the flesh from the shell, I hit a soft spot with my knife and went thru my finger to the bone, nicely shaving the tendon clean off... That was an expensive coconut!!
